Walnut Fudge Brownie Recipe



  • pan
  • heatproof bowl
  • mixing bowl
  • wooden spoon
  • grease proof paper
  • baking pan



  • 80g chopped walnuts
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 115g plain chocolate
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 70g packed light brown sugar
  • 70g cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs and 1 egg yolk
  • 85g plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • pinch of salt



  1. preheat the oven to 160°c and line your baking pan with grease proof paper
  2. melt the butter and chocolate over a pan of simmering water and stir until the mixture becomes smooth
  3. add the granulated sugar, brown sugar and cocoa to a bowl
  4. slowly pour in the chocolate and butter mix and stir until mixture becomes smooth
  5. let it cool slightly and then add the vanilla eggs, egg yolk and stir until combined
  6. add in the flour, cornstarch and salt and stir
  7. fold in the walnuts
  8. pour the batter into the baking tin and bake for around 35 minutes
