it’s world nutella day! to celebrate, we’ve made a deliciously easy recipe for chocolate twists using nutella and pistachios for that extra crunch. this recipe is a great way to get children involved in baking and can be great as an after school snack, as the hazelnuts in the nutella and pistachios are a source of protein which helps to keep you feeling fuller for longer!

ingredients (makes 10)

1. 1 pack of puff pastry (320g)
2. A small jar of nutella
3. 50g Zeina pistachios
4. 1 egg

Nutella & Pistachio Twists Recipe

1. roll out your puff pastry into a large rectangle

2. cover the pastry in a thick layer of nutella

3. sprinkle with chopped pistachios

4.cut in half down the longest side

5. cut into 1 inch wide strips with a knife down the shorter sides

6. take 2 pieces, place them together with the nutella and pistachios on the inside

7. twist one end of the pastry round in a circle twice

8. place on a baking tray and repeat until you have used all of the pastry

9. egg wash each twist

10. bake in the oven at 160 c for 15 minutes
