Today it’s national trail mix day! Why not incorporate delicious Zeina nuts and fruits into your trail mix like we have done here for the perfect snack!

Trailmixes are perfect for healthy snacking on the go, lunches, children’s lunchboxes, and can be a useful tool in helping children to eat fruit and nuts, why not make a big batch and split into individual portions for easy portion controlled after school snacks?

You can make all kinds of different trail mix using Zeina products, but here is one of our favourites!

Ingredients

100g Zeina cashew nuts

100g Zeina almonds

50g raisins

1 packet of your favourite coated chocolate pieces

Method

Simply mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, and enjoy our Zeina trail mix at home or on the go!

Store in an airtight container and it will stay fresh for around a month (if you can resist eating it all straight away).

top tip: why not swap out the chocolate pieces for chewy sweets to change up the texture, or try chopping the nuts before mixing everything together and then using it to top porridge or granola for a delicious breakfast with a protein punch!
